Equation NanoTech (Singapore) Pte Ltd is a professional high
technology corporation involved in the research & development,
sales and distribution and consultancy services on
Nanotechnology by combining scientific research,
development, application and production.
Nanotechnology is a frontier hybrid science. Its research
content covers a broad domain of current science and technology.
The so-called Nanotechnology is referred to as the new and
advanced technology through which humans extend their ability of
understanding and harnessing the nature to the atomic and
molecular level by direct control and manipulation of atoms,
molecules, atomic clusters or molecular clusters, causing them
to recombine, rearrange,
to form new substance or matter under microscopic condition i.e.
in the nanometer range. The fundamental definition of
Nanotechnology is that in a microenvironment that is within the
dimension of one nanometer, the ability of man to understand and
change nature shall be elevated to the atomic and molecular
level; through direct manipulation and rearrangement of the
atom, the molecule, the atomic clusters or molecular groups such
that they are re-assembled, re-aligned to create new substances
or products under this new and high-technology. Many in the
scientific world have concluded, “Nanotechnology is the key to
scientific development in the twenty-first century.
It is a revolution of technology and it will be a revolution of
industry too. The effects to mankind brought about by
Nanotechnology shall be as profound and lasting as that of
industrial revolution, technology revolution, antibiotics and
nuclear weapon…”
What is Nano?
Answer: Nano or Nanometer is a unit of length in
physics, 1 nanometer (nm) equals
10-9
meter (1 millimeter equals
10-3 meter, 1 micrometer equals
10-6
meter) i.e. one over one
million millimeter, one over one billion meter. 1nm is about
the diameter of a hair divided by a hundred thousand, a visual
analogy: A nanometer-sized particle placed on a ping pong ball
is equivalent in proportion to a ping pong ball placed on the
Earth. We are unable to see such a tiny particle with naked
eyes. This scale is equivalent to the atomic and molecular
scale, which is often mentioned by people. When conventional
materials are being sub-divided by technology to such an extent,
its materialization could manifest in great changes as its
massive potential energy is highly active and has possibilities
beyond imagination. This is what has always been referred to as
“quantitative change to qualitative change”.
What is Nano Material?
Answer: It is a material consists of ultra micro grains,
its compact aggregates and Nano micrites between the scale of 1
to 100nm. Nano material has extremely broad prospect for
application in various fields.
What are the characteristics of Nano Material?
Answer: It shows completely different nature from
conventional material. For example, energy gap structure
splitting of semiconductor Nano material, Nano Iron possessing
very strong magnetization, non-conducting material becoming
conductor, unique far infrared emission, strong ultraviolet
reflection, strong absorbability, strong catalytic effect etc.
Scientists predicted that 21st century would be the Nano era.
There will definitely be another industrial revolution.
Why is far infrared ray good for the health of human body?
Answer: In fact all material can emit electromagnetic
wave under room temperature. In physics this is called the
"blackbody radiation". But the electromagnetic waves have
different wavelengths and different effects to the human body.
For example, when the wavelength of an ultraviolet ray is 320
nanometers, it may burn the skin. When the wavelength is 400
nanometers, it may cause the skin to yield sunspots. But those
wave bands beneficial to the health of human body only happen to
lie within a few narrow ranges that are synchronous with the
wave emitted from human body. It is called the "rejuvenating
light", "biological wave", "energy of universe" etc. A very weak
external far infrared ray resonating with the wave emitted from
human body may achieve the unique effect of regulating the
physiology of human body.
